Curating Curiosities. Creating Opportunities.
The Oddities &
Art Market
About Us.
The Oddities & Art Markets were created with one purpose: to bring artists, makers, and creatives together in a welcoming, inclusive space where individuality is celebrated and community comes first. We believe in creating experiences that foster connection, encourage creativity, and provide a safe space where everyone belongs. We are driven by community, not bottom lines.
Our commitment to creativity extends beyond our events. 100% of all event proceeds are donated to Access Art, an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to art and music opportunities for financially disadvantaged youth. You can find more out about Access Art on their website www.accessartfl.org
We create spaces for art, build communities through connection, and help make creativity accessible to the next generation.
IMPORTANT SCAM WARNING
We will NEVER contact you through social media regarding registration, booth availability, or payments. All official communication comes directly from our team (meet them below) through the verified email addresses and contacts listed below. If anyone contacts you about our shows outside of these official channels, IT IS A SCAM.
Please be cautious, do not send payments or personal information, and always verify that you are communicating directly with our team. All of our socials have the blue verified check and our emails are from @accessartfl.org
Our Team.
We’re a small but mighty team of three volunteers who pour our hearts into this passion project! We’re the faces behind the scenes and the people you’ll work with throughout the entire show process. We’re also fortunate to have an incredible group of additional volunteers who help us bring each event to life and keep everything running smoothly!

Fenix
Director of Organized Chaos
Fully Remote: FL Based
The one making the rules, calling the shots, and occasionally questioning every life decision that led to managing hundreds of artists, vendors, and wonderfully weird humans across multiple states.
Responsible for turning questionable ideas into actual events, making executive decisions, and ensuring the chaos remains just organized enough to avoid becoming a documentary.
Basically, the boss of the Oddities & Art Markets. All complaints, compliments, and mildly unhinged suggestions eventually end up here.

Christy
The Registration Ringmaster
Fully Remote: FL Based
The gatekeeper of the weird. The master of booths, invoices, and an ungodly number of emails. She reviews every registration that comes through our inbox, communicates with artists and vendors, sends invoices, and tracks payments. Basically, she's responsible for turning hundreds of applications and questionable attention spans into a functioning event. If you've ever received an email reminding you to pay an invoice, read the instructions, or provide information you definitely already sent (but didn't), you've probably met her. Be nice to her. She knows where your booth is. And where it isn't.

Ashlie
Master of Money & Mayhem
The master of spreadsheets, and the person making sure our financial decisions don't land us on an episode of American Greed. She handles the accounting and somehow still finds time to help run just about every show we put on. On event day, you'll likely see her running around at questionable speeds, solving problems nobody knew existed, and making sure everything is up, running, and operating like a well-oiled machine. Or at least a machine held together by caffeine, zip ties, and sheer determination.
She's part accountant, part event manager, and part professional chaos coordinator. Basically, if something needs fixing, finding, counting, or figuring out, she's probably already on it.

Mario
The Texas Oddfather
Info@accessartfl.org or fenix@accessartfl.org
The man, the myth, the Lone Star legend. Our boots-on-the-ground boss of all things weird in Texas. He's responsible for wrangling vendors, running shows and keeping our traveling circus from turning into an actual crime scene. Part event director, part cowboy, and full-time chaos coordinator.
We are not sure if he knows how to use a computer yet, so if you need him, just contact Christy or Fenix!
